Basketball Recap: Coloma Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Coloma won against Dowagiac last Tuesday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Coloma Comets walked away with a 63-54 victory over the Allegan Tigers. While the Comets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Coloma pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Allegan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coloma and Bangor will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Allegan, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fennville at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
