The Franklin Road Christian Minutemen breezed by the Central Baptist Swordsmen to the tune of  50-9 on Friday thanks in part to  Dempsey, who  posted four points in addition to eight  assists, six  boards,  and six  steals. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  assists.
 Another player making a difference was  Emma Dugger, who  put up two points in addition to six  rebounds and six  steals. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 2.5  steals per game.
Franklin Road Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Central Baptist, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Franklin Road Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season  when they go up against Zion Christian Academy  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Central Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
