The Southern Alamance Patriots had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They claimed a resounding 55-18 win over Graham on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Southern Alamance has managed all season.
Morgan Isley was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 18 rebounds. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Madison Brouillard, who scored three points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Southern Alamance's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Graham, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Southern Alamance won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Enloe at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th. Enloe comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Graham, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Eno River at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st. Hopefully Eno River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Friday.
