After a string of four wins, the Cedar Hill Longhorns's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 58-50 to Wagner.
Wagner found their leader in underclassman Trevaun Clark, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Clark's third in a row with at least ten points. Marcus Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Cedar Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Wagner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Cedar Hill will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Centennial at 9:00 a.m. on December 1st. Centennial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1159th, while Cedar Hill is ranked 155th). As for Wagner, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Chaparral at 9:00 a.m. Hopefully Chaparral focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
