Prosper's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Independence Knights by a score of 46-39. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 57-45 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Despite the defeat, Independence had strong showings from Kylan Wade, who shot 44% from the field en route to 16 points and seven rebounds, and Tristan Wade, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 15 points. Matt Laurant was another key player, putting up three points and three steals.

Prosper is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Independence, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Prosper has already played their next game (against Plano East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Independence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-56 loss against Walnut Grove on the 6th.
