The Dietrich Blue Devils will take on the Camas County Mushers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dietrich comes in on ten and Camas County on three.
Last Friday, everything went Dietrich's way against Hansen as Dietrich made off with a 77-53 victory. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Angel Alvarado was his usual excellent self, going 12 of 18 on his way to 27 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Corrd Wells, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards.
Dietrich smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Camas County made easy work of Richfield on Tuesday and carried off a 54-33 win.
Camas County's win came from a few key players Dietrich will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Clancy Rablin, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. He is becoming a predictor of Camas County's success: when he posts at least eight rebounds the team is 3-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Cadden Hathaway, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
Dietrich's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.3 points. As for Camas County, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Dietrich has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 38.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Camas County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Dietrich against Camas County in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 74-30 win. In that contest, Dietrich amassed a halftime lead of 41-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
