They had to suffer through a rough 68-30 loss at the hands of Legion Preparatory Academy. Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.
Mari Dangerfield was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 16 points. Kendi Glover was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Legion Preparatory Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy will take on Summit International Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Legion Preparatory Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on R.W. Goines Stem Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th.
