Coronado waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Palo Verde Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Coronado was led to victory by NAKISA FRIEDMAN and ISABELLE GUERZON. FRIEDMAN had 17 digs, while GUERZON had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs GUERZON has posted over her last six contests.

Coronado's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Palo Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coronado will face off against Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Cougars their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Palo Verde, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Durango at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Trailblazers at the right time seeing as the Trailblazers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
