Baseball Recap: North Miami Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

North Miami won the last time they faced Culver Community and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Cavaliers. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

North Miami's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Riley, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Riley has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times he's played. Isaac Floyd was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

North Miami always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Culver Community only posted an OBP of .318.

North Miami is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Culver Community, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
