The Eldon Mustangs won the last time they faced the Versailles Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Eldon blew past Versailles, posting a 66-22 victory on the road.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eldon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kenzi Ward, who scored 23 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Sydney Halderman, who scored 12 points along with 7 assists and 4 steals.
Eldon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Versailles, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Eldon won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against California at 7:00 p.m. on November 29th. California knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Eldon likes a good challenge. Versailles will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Laquey at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
