The Perry Panthers lost against the McKinley Bulldogs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Perry took a hard 49-35 fall against the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, Perry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 53rd).
Perry's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Wolf, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Kyson Walker who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Perry struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for McKinley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Perry will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for McKinley, they will head out on the road to face off against the Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Louisville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 641 points over their last nine games.
