The ITW David Speer Academy Pride will head out on the road to  face off against  the Prosser Falcons at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (ITW David Speer Academy has three straight  wins, Prosser has four straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 ITW David Speer Academy can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  match  last Tuesday. They blew past Pritzker 17-1.
  Giomani Rivas made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Rivas was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Juan Frias was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.  Santiago Lopez was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  contest, but Prosser had to settle for  a  9-8 loss against Westinghouse on Thursday.
  Jeremy Del Rio and  Earl Simmons stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Del Rio  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances, while  Simmons  scored two  runs and  stole six bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Del Rio has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ethan Velazquez, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 ITW David Speer Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record  this season. As for Prosser, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. ITW David Speer Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.8  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Prosser struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 13. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Thankfully for ITW David Speer Academy,  Anthony Sosa (who   struck out 11 batters over  4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits) won't be suiting up this time.
