The Greendale Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Greendale has given up an average of 7.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Greendale is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waukesha West.

Noeli Schutten and Giselle Paszkiewicz did some serious damage despite the final result: Schutten went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Paszkiewicz got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs. Paszkiewicz is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Ella Padron also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Meanwhile, New Berlin Eisenhower made easy work of Greenfield on Thursday and carried off a 13-2 win. Considering the Lions have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Mya Ender made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Ender was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jayda Karls, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Lexi Mainville was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
New Berlin Eisenhower pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Greendale, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Greendale has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like New Berlin Eisenhower struggles in that department as they've averaged .438. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Greendale was able to grind out a solid victory over New Berlin Eisenhower in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 4-0. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
