While losing is never fun, Christian Life Preparatory can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1473rd, while the Eagles are ranked 711th).
Meanwhile, Nazarene Christian Academy struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Tuesday (the Eagles were 29% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Nazarene Christian Academy's rough 56-34 loss to the Eagles might stick with them for a while. Nazarene Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
The losing side was boosted by Dakota Becker, who scored 28 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Christian Life Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Christian Life Preparatory, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-30 loss to the Lions in their previous matchup back in January.
