The Fairfield Falcons''s eight-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They came out on top against Hartford by a score of 56-46. The victory was just what Fairfield needed coming off of a 46-0 loss in their prior match.
Connor Fowler was on fire: he rushed for 394 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry. Fowler is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last four games he's played. Rex Zongker also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Hartford, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-8.
