Tommy Digregorio Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, St. Joseph-by-the-Sea got the W thanks in part to Tommy Digregorio playing the best football he has all season. Digregorio rushed for 273 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.3). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.
St. Joseph-by-the-Sea is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Digregorio and St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. John the Baptist at 1:30 p.m. on October 26th.

Marco Aruta's Big Game Leads St. Peter's over Archbishop Stepinac
Marco Aruta was a major factor in St. Peter's win over Archbishop Stepinac on Friday. Aruta was dynamite, rushing for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also picking up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Aruta is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Fordham Prep on Saturday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Aruta saw the Rams), he rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Bailey Posts Huge Game in 28-14 Loss
Jonathan Bailey posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 103 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 127 yards and a touchdown.
Bailey will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against St. Peter's on Saturday. Bailey will face off against Marco Aruta on Saturday, the Eagles' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Keeping Bailey company is Jack McKillop, a fellow Fordham Prep player. He rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.6) per game.

Jack Leary Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Jack Leary of St. Francis Prep. Leary threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 9-for-9 passing.
St. Francis Prep pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Leary and St. Francis Prep will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against Mt. St. Michael Academy at 1:00 p.m.
