Softball Recap: Indio's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Indio and El Toro squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Indio had to settle for second. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 9-3. The Rajahs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Audra Higgins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Leslie Delgado, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Indio's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for El Toro, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-12-1.

Indio does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for El Toro, they will square off against Warren at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
