It was a good run, but the McLane Highlanders unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 77-63 bruising from Hoover. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McLane in their matchups with Hoover: they've now lost four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why McLane lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaiah Pamanes. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Da?Zir Newhouse, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
McLane's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Hoover, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season.
McLane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hoover also has no future games currently scheduled.
