Rockland is 1-9 against Mashpee since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Rockland lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Carver, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 9-3 win on Thursday.

Hayden Hatch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Rockland is 5-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-4 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Austin Daly was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Cooper Larouco was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mashpee). Everything went their way against Nantucket on Saturday as they made off with a 15-5 victory. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Whalers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Kameron DaLomba looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit.
At the plate, Michael McGrail was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Merkman, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Mashpee kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Mashpee's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Rockland, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
