It was another big night for Soraya Jokhan, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Winter Springs' points. Tristin Burch was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Winter Springs' win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Lake Brantley, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.
Winter Springs will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central Florida Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Bears in Florida (the Eagles are ranked 29th, while the Bears are ranked 391st). As for Lake Brantley, they will take on the Patriots at TBD on Monday.
