Ripon had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Sonora on Thursday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Indians have won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fourth in a row for Ripon, bringing their record up to 15-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Sonora, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ripon will square off against rival Escalon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sonora is set to challenge their familiar foe Ripon Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
