Basketball Recap: Antioch Beats Whites Creek for Their Third Straight Victory

Antioch extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jaiden Claybrook. The Antioch Bears claimed a resounding 70-30 win over the Whites Creek Cobras thanks in part to Claybrook, who posted 20 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Cedric Lewis, who put up eight points. What's more, he also racked up four rebounds, the most he's had since back in January.

Whites Creek's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Noah Hughes and Jaton Gordon. Hughes had nine points and three steals, while Gordon posted seven points.

Antioch is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Whites Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Antioch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-53 victory against LaVergne on the 16th. As for Whites Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-47 defeat against Chattanooga Prep on the 20th.
