Coconino has gone 8-2 against Prescott recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Badgers at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Coconino's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Lee Williams. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Norah Kennelly was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Savannah Waters was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Householder, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Coconino always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee Williams only posted an OBP of .316.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prescott). They blew past Coolidge 17-4 on Thursday. While the Badgers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Lauren McCormick made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. McCormick was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kaylin Pinarelli and Belle Mazon did most of the damage at the plate: Pinarelli went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Mazon went 2-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that Mazon has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Amilya Zahn, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Coconino's record now sits at 11-3. As for Prescott, their record is now 5-2.
Coconino got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Prescott by a conclusive 12-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Badgers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
