University has gone a perfect 4-0 against Weld Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will host the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. University is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.
On Monday, University got the win against Platte Valley by a conclusive 12-3. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

University got a great performance from Aiden Solano as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Solano has posted since back in April of 2025.
At the plate, Joel Ramirez was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Davey-Anderson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
University kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Weld Central didn't have quite enough to beat Sterling on Friday and fell 3-2. The Rebels have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Weld Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Dinges, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Pierce Thoene was another, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Weld Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. University hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .351. However, it's not like Weld Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .342. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
University got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Weld Central by a conclusive 14-5 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
