The Trinity Prep Saints will square off against the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
Trinity Prep will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Crooms Academy on Thursday. Trinity Prep blew past Crooms Academy 11-1. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Max Anders made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Trinity Prep is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-3 otherwise. Anders was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-1. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Trinity Prep got a massive performance out of Adrian Camejo, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. Camejo has become a key player for Trinity Prep: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Armando Ros was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3.
Trinity Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crooms Academy only posted a batting average of .059.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian Academy lost 10-3 to Pine Ridge on Friday.
Trinity Christian Academy also got a good showing from Alex Low, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, Low didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February.
At the plate, Trinity Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quentin Berry, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Trinity Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Trinity Prep has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Trinity Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Trinity Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Trinity Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, winning 7-2. Will Trinity Prep repeat their success, or does Trinity Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
