Cornerstone Charter Academy suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were dealt a 79-43 loss at the hands of Lighthouse Private Christian Academy. Cornerstone Charter Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-16.
Jayden Lebron put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 26 points. That was a full 60.5% of Cornerstone Charter Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Derick Augustin, who scored six points.

Even though they lost, Lyman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. This was only their 12th loss (out of 16 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Cornerstone Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Lyman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Cornerstone Charter Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 32.6 rebounds per game.
