Chicago Vocational's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendaro Cassidy, who scored 18 points. The match was Cassidy's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ron Thigpen, who scored 16 points.
Chicago Vocational's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Woodlawn, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Chicago Vocational will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Corliss at 4:30 p.m. Corliss comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Woodlawn, they will head out on the road to face off against Blue Island Eisenhower at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
