The Salpointe Catholic Lancers posted their biggest win since November 30, 2023 on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 58-17 victory over Flowing Wells. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-8.
Salpointe Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaac Lambe led the charge by scoring nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Johnson, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Salpointe Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Flowing Wells, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salpointe Catholic the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Nogales at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Flowing Wells will take on Sahuaro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
