Kingstree is 0-4 against Timberland since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Kingstree Blazers will be staying on the road to face off against the Timberland Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. Kingstree will be strutting in after a victory while Timberland will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Kingstree never let their opponents score. They blew past Lee Central, posting a 36-0 win on the road. The result was nothing new for Kingstree, who have now won three contests by 36 points or more so far this season.
Kingstree's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ja'Shaun Dorsey, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Javian Mccrea and his 119 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Kingstree's victory.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Timberland's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 13-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oceanside Collegiate Academy. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, Timberland couldn't push the score so high this time.
Kingstree's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Timberland, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-6.
Kingstree might still be hurting after the 26-6 loss they got from Timberland when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Can Kingstree avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
