Carroll Academy kept a clean sheet against Newton County Academy on Friday. Carroll Academy put a hurting on Newton County Academy to the tune of 52-0. With the Rebels ahead 30 to nothing at the half, the contest was all but over already.
The win (their fourth in a row) raised Carroll Academy's record to 9-2. Newton County Academy's defeat pushes them down to 3-8.
The Rebels will take on Sylva Bay Academy on Friday. After both of those teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune. As for Newton County Academy, they do not have any more games currently scheduled.
