The California School for the Deaf Eagles will be playing at home against the Making Waves Academy Marlins at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both teams will really light up the scoreboard.

  Julianna Hammons was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   three  hits. Hammons was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Isabella Byrd, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.  Geneva Brock was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Making Waves Academy lost  22-11 to The Bay School on Friday.
 California School for the Deaf's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Making Waves Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1.
 California School for the Deaf took their  victory against Making Waves Academy  when the teams last played  back in April by a conclusive  26-6.
