In what's become a running theme this season, the John Henry Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. Everything went their way against Griffin Academy as John Henry made off with a 62-38 win. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for John Henry considering their zero-point performance the contest before.
Despite the loss, Griffin Academy saw an underclassman step up: Ashton Bonifaco scored 19 points. It was the first time this season that Bonifaco scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jaedan Laie, who scored ten points.
John Henry now has a winning record of 3-2-2. As for Griffin Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
John Henry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Griffin Academy and the Griffins will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mare Island Tech Academy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
