The Ballard Bombers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-15 victory over Boone. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ballard also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.
Ballard's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.3 points per game. As for Boone, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Ballard will head out on the road to face off against North Polk at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Polk presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ballard in Iowa (North Polk is ranked ninth, while Ballard is ranked 63rd). Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
