The North Oldham Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Western 71-28 on the road. That 71-28 margin sets a new team best for North Oldham this season.
Despite the defeat, Western had strong showings from Aubryonna Durrah, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds, and Sequoia Cochran, who scored eight points. Cochran is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
The win makes it two in a row for North Oldham and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Western, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
North Oldham won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Highlands at 5:30 p.m. on December 9th. As for Western, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kentucky Country Day at 6:00 p.m.
