Muncy came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-0 victory over the Sayre Redskins. Considering the Indians have won three games by more than 34 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Muncy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andrew Walters led the charge by rushing for 64 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 48 yards and one TD. Another back making a difference was Layken Harris, who rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Nathan Rogers, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Muncy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sayre, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Muncy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 27-7 loss against Montgomery on the 26th. As for Sayre, they have also already played their next contest, a 62-6 defeat against Northwest Area on the 27th.
