The biggest upset of the week belonged to Whitefield Academy, who took down 304th ranked Mount Pisgah Christian, 28-6.
Walker's Evan Kasian recorded the longest rushing play in A Region 6B this season in his game against King's Ridge Christian last week. Kasian's team defeated King's Ridge Christian as he sprinted for 81 yards on the play and finished with 172 in all.
Fellowship Christian's dynamic duo of Drew Williamson and Jack Wise proved tough for Mount Paran Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Williamson threw for 29 yards and Wise had 25 yards receiving. Tyler Hart helped Fellowship Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for four yards.
Conor Linneen made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Paladins lost to the Eagles. The 6-foot-2 senior forced one fumble.
Fellowship Christian's Hunter Bryant and Linneen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bryant has thrown for 501 yards this season, while Linneen, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 12 catches for 156 yards. Walker's Kasian leads the league in rushing yards with 1385.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Walker takes on second place Whitefield Academy. Last week, John East's team topped King's Ridge Christian, while the Wolfpack beat the Patriots.
