On Friday, Macon were out to avenge their 18-28 loss to Clark County from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Macon were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 18-22 to Clark County. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Macon.
The loss dropped Macon's record to 4-2. The win bumped Clark County's record up to 5-1.
Next week Macon take on Brookfield at 7:00 PM. Macon have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Brookfield are surely hoping to exploit. As for Clark County, they will face off against Palmyra. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Clark County skips in on four wins and Palmyra on seven.
