The Calvert Senecas can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They really took it to Danbury for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-26 win at home. The victory was familiar territory for Calvert who now have six in a row.
It was another big night for Jacob Rombach, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Gavin Wagner was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
Calvert is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Danbury, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Calvert will head out on the road to challenge Old Fort at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Danbury, they and New Riegel will face off at 6:30 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Danbury will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 789th, while New Riegel is ranked 381st).
