On Friday, The Hancock Central Bulldogs got themselves on the board against the Twiggs County Cobras, but the Twiggs County Cobras never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cobras 38-0 on the road. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Hancock Central just coasted through the last quarter.
Hancock Central can attribute much of their success to Raquan Washington, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Hancock Central's win bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Twiggs County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Hancock Central is on the road again on Friday and play against Wilkinson County at 6:00 p.m. on October 27th. Wilkinson County and Hancock Central are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Twiggs County, they will be playing at home against Johnson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
