The Linden-McKinley Panthers have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 50-37 defeat to Worthington Kilbourne.
It was another big night for Aidan Gallogly, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds for Worthington Kilbourne. Those 11 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Te'mar Lewis, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Linden-McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Worthington Kilbourne, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.
Linden-McKinley will stay at home for another game and welcome Northland at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Worthington Kilbourne's road trip will continue as they head out to face Westerville North at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. Westerville North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Worthington Kilbourne in Ohio (Westerville North is ranked 20th, while Worthington Kilbourne is ranked 370th).
