On Saturday, Mountain View Christian Academy suffered a rough 35-15 defeat at the hands of New Life Christian Academy. Mountain View Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
New Life Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Reece Trescott, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trescott has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylin Bailey, who scored seven points.
Mountain View Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Life Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victory Baptist Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th. As for New Life Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Parkersburg Christian at 2:00 p.m.
