The Pomona Red Devils''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 42-21 loss to Chino might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pomona in their matchups with Chino: they've now lost four in a row.
Nathan Blanco was his usual excellent self, rushing for 140 yards and three touchdowns. Blanco is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Ogata, who threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Pomona's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Chino, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-0.
Pomona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chino will be playing at home against Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jordan is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
