Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Varina). They blew past the Atlee Raiders, posting a 69-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won eight in a row.

Varina's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Atlee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Varina is set to take on their familiar foe Highland Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Blue Devils 8.5, the Springers 12.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
