Edmund Burke Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zaylie Baker out in front who scored 14 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carleigh Woods, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Edmund Burke Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Pinewood Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Edmund Burke Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Augusta Prep Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinewood Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Bulloch Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
