If the Braden River Pirates were riding high off their 46-10 takedown of the Shorecrest Prep Chargers on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Braden River suffered a tough 71-47 defeat at the hands of North Port on Thursday. Braden River was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Port apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2019.

Dalton scored a full 34% of Braden River's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kelis Mcgrady was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
