Dallas HSAA Red's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 72-53 to Greenhill.
Meanwhile, North Central Texas Academy earned a 51-42 win over Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given North Central Texas Academy's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 614th, while Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool is ranked 172nd).
Dallas HSAA Red's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for North Central Texas Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Dallas HSAA Red, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-43 loss to North Central Texas Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Dallas HSAA Red avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
