The Scott Central Rebels lost against the Lake Hornets back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Scott Central took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lake. Scott Central has not had much luck with Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Scott Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ashanti Murrell, who scored 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Murrell hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Azaeliyah Lyles was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Scott Central has not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season. As for Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 10-15.
Scott Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake also has no future games currently scheduled.
