The River Pilots can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 67-32 victory over Shenandoah on the road. Winning may never get old, but River sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Despite the loss, Shenandoah saw an underclassman step up: Emily Moore scored ten points along with five assists and five rebounds. Moore has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Brylee May was another key contributor, scoring six points.
River's victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. As for Shenandoah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Monroe Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Shenandoah, they will take on Philo at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
