The Ridge Community Bolts lost against the Lake Region Thunder back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Ridge Community fell 58-45 to Lake Region.
Ridge Community's loss came despite strong showings from Eddy Hyppolite jr. and Siled Morris. Hyppolite jr. scored 15 points along with two steals, while Morris scored 12 points along with three steals. Hyppolite jr. has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.
Dwayne Lattimore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lake Region, scoring 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devan Booker, who scored 11 points.
Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lake Region, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge Community and Kathleen will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 17th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kathleen has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11. As for Lake Region, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Davenport at 8:00 p.m. on January 17th. Davenport is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
