Juniata Valley has won six straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Claysburg-Kimmel has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Hornets will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Juniata Valley proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 27) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Northern Cambria 23-20.

Andrew Clark produced another solid performance rushing for 174 yards and three TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.
Juniata Valley didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Northern Cambria to a completion percentage of just 36.4%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Clark, Parker Imler, and Jett Rand, who each logged one passes deflected. Juniata Valley wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 54.2%.
Meanwhile, Claysburg-Kimmel made easy work of Glendale on Friday and carried off a 28-6 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Juniata Valley better keep an eye on Mason Campagna. He was instrumental in Claysburg-Kimmel's win, rushing for 85 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 180 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes.
Juniata Valley's record is now 9-2. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their record now sits at an identical 9-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Juniata Valley has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 201.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Claysburg-Kimmel struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 192.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Juniata Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Claysburg-Kimmel in their previous meeting back in September, winning 44-31. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Campagna, who threw for 291 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 52 yards and a pair of scores. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Hornets still be able to contain Campagna? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
